Knowing how much hassle getting that drive shaft through the hub can be, I'd have a closer look at the clamp and see if it could be possible just to clamp over the split, its not lost much grease at all and if the split is where it looks to be it just might be possible to get away with it.

Can anyone recommend a decent 3 legged puller? There's loads of cheap crappy ones about but I want to get a decent one Christian.
