For me, it’s hard to say if there was much difference. For the ECU I see no difference but I’m having this power loss issue which may mask any changes. The TCU was done along with the gearbox mega flush. Again, any improvement is lost with the benefits of new oils. Interesting. That’s the first I’ve heard that… not that it means much coming from me I’ve swapped my MAF sensors as suggested by GraemeS and will take a drive later to see if there is any change. I also cleaned them again for good measure. Swapping the MAF sensors made no difference so booked the car in at a local garage to check the vacuum pump and lines.

Nothing wasted if you have eliminated something from the list of suspects. I’d log some live data with the GAP tool - MAP and fuel pressure vs rpm. There is also commanded ( ie what the ecu wants) vs actual values which will be useful.

If it helps I recently swapped my vacuum lines using the hose in the link below. I bought 2m of 6mm and 2m of 4mm. Some pipes need to be adapted on one end so what worked well was some silicone spray on the 4mm and push into the 6mm. Then chop it flush, if that makes sense!

Ah, I thought I replied to this??? When I looked the 6mm hoses were out of stock. I just checked again, and have now ordered the hoses. A little job for this weekend along with tracking down an accessory belt chirp.
