I cant find anything on this Topic here on the forum , nor in the manuals.

It’s a BMW thing, so was employed on the early cars. I had it on all my BMWs and the TD6.

Hmm cant see anything in the manual either , Ill look at rave. Thing is there is no clue as to what number /code is required, unless you make one up.

Oh yes, you make one up each time when you set it. I seem to remember there is a way round it if you don’t know the number, but there is lots of waiting involved.

Bloody hell.... sorry mate, I don’t have any further ideas other than maybe ringing BMW specialists... there might be more of them then Land Rover specialists....

Just a thought, if you have a Gap iiD, look in the CCF for the BCU to see if there is the option to have the system switched on or off.

I know you’ve already tried battery disconnect, but a chap posted a video of doing it on his X5....

This chap pulled the connectors off the back of his instrument cluster to get his car to start..... I know it’s an X5 but same architecture... least you could take it somewhere then....

This one takes about touching the terminals together before you connect the battery back up.....
