Full tank of fuel if you take it steady the MPG isn’t too bad that being said.

Not bothered about the MPG it’s better than the disco so that’s ok and it pulls like it’s not on 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

TDV8 - towing is a pleasure - just remember you have a caravan on the back it's easy to forget |

Nose weight is the biggest factor affecting my twin axle caravan, too heavy and it bobs, too light and it sways (only slightly, but get it perfect and it's bliss). Other than that, I scan my route on google earth on any tight spots/towns etc to look for any potential issues or restrictions. Also recce potential stopping places online in case needed. And finally - relax and take your time. I always try to slow right down and really concentrate when hitching up, setting off, etc. FFRR SDV8 Autobiography |

I'm in the same boat, going to Carfest and towing the tintent for the first time with the new FFRR. Expecting a slightly easier journey this time round! David

Don't forget the flat cap, don't drive anywhere near the speed limit and don't look in your mirrors... Pete

One thing I would say, keep a eye out for people who feel they MUST be in front of the slow caravan, without considering that the 12/13m car and caravan combination has no problem keeping with traffic and is quite a big overtake.

Take your time and enjoy the journey. I used to stick to 60 towing with no problems. |

Exactly, too easy to forget the trailer, I have been at silly speeds with 2 horses up, although hopefully a caravan will tell you |

single axle vans are less stable than a twin, but you should have no problem towing pretty much any van with the 322.
