Drove it across to East Riding on Tues. Weds I then moved down Country to Norwich and this morning I headed back home to St Helens. Didnt miss a beat and very happy with the mpg. Fitted a new boot strap on my return this afternoon and have to say the item ( from LR Trade Parts ) doesnt look like it will last 6 months and is a pretty poor copy.

Today, after research here and elsewhere was fitting a dash cam day.

Went for the Nextbase 512GW - including the rear camera (as that was half price when buying the 512).

Easy fit, cables all hidden properly and permanently wired into the fusebox on a permanent live. I'm told it shuts down and won't flatten the car battery when you park. We'll see if that's true or not, and if not it will only take a couple of minutes to move it to an ignition switched circuit.

Quality of video seems really good so far, when though the rear camera is peering through the privacy glass.

Quite pleased with it and myself! Takes the edge off the disappointment of the MotoGP farce due to the poor treatment of all races apart from F1 by the Silverstone management.

I have been down to Crewe and back to attend my grandsons 2nd birthday party.
The M6 in the rain and roadworks didn’t make for a very pleasant trip.
But I enjoyed the 🍰 cake

Last day with the old girl. Nice little drive in the countryside, I've had it nearly 8 years and she's 15 years old. Still turns heads.

Very good looking car Trading up to a later model? Or something else?

A good wash then applied another coating of Chinese Ceramic polish in the hope it will give some extra protection from 5 weeks of Portugal sunshine .

Very small change. Swapped the rear indicator bulbs for some that I had in the garage. Took out the orange ones and replaced with diadem ones. Barely noticeable but I can see it now, although I am looking out for it.

Fitted a tow bar, the factory westfalia with removable hook.

I drove up to Huddersfield to meetup with Highfellzippy to purchase some wheels and tyres. When I got back home I cleaned them, waxed them and sealed them before fitting to my FFRR. The wheels and tyres had apparently only done 6 miles.

Replaced the cable to the outside door handle on the drivers door. It's been a not being able to open the door for the last three weeks

Not tto bad a job really, although the door handle doesn't seem to operate as well as if used to,  RR History
