I marvelled at how quickly my Buckingham Blue paintwork gets filthy and I fixed my rear washer by poking pins in it |

Gave her sides, tailgate and bonnet another two coats of polish, and spent an hour washing and double waxing the roof (now that I have some steps so I can reach it). Re calibrated the Sat-Nav, and compiled a list of things to renovate her finer points, and bring her up to date with maintenance. |

Stuck my 'fullfatrr' sticker in the back window - would provide photographic proof but haven't been able to wash himself for over a month and didn't want to set a bad example! L322 TDV8 4.4 - current

Got back to my car after lunch to be greeted by a slightly ajar driver's door, open glovebox lid and ashtray, with no other signs of entry????

Put "Gerald" - blame Domestic Zero, not me - through the carwash today, then did the wheels when I got back home, ready for his trip to Londinium tomorrow morning. Certain amount of trepidation, last time I was in a vehicle anywhere near London was in 1981 in a Leyland Martian recovery vehicle . . . but that's another story! Oh, and also found out that the near side mirror has decided to start showing the kerb when I engage reverse - for the 1st time in the 4 months that I've had the motor! L322 TDV8 4.4 - current
