nice job mark, looks good pal.

I have spent a few hours today trying to get the satnav working that I accidentally messed up. Finally got it sorted, more recent maps and everything. Brill.

Also been to B&Q and easily fitted 2.4metres of wood in the beast. Nice. Dan

tape up around the handle to make sure you don't mark the door when sanding i also used a business card as i went to protect the door, then sand down effected areas to the bare plastic ( p400 grit sand paper ), mask up, plastic prime, base coat ( Halfords Rover grey ), laquer ( Halfords satin or matt lacquer. i got the satin lacquer as they had no matt left but as you can see they came out great.

Strange the way the handles deteriorate as all my handles were pristine except for the top edge which is where all the water sits maybe that has something todo with it. I put a coat of wax on mine a few days after i painted them to protect from the water, can't hurt having a little extra protection on them.

check out this how to post http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic27260.html

easy job and dose not take long, i kept putting it off as i didn't like the idea of painting the handles on the car but its really the best option as the handles are not as straight forward to remove as on other cars. just take your time and make sure to take the correct precautions to make sure you don't mark the door Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )

Already after only 5 days of ownership I'm already annoyed with the seatbelt dropping to the floor so last night I put a new clip through the seatbelt to stop it half way down the seat. Brilliant! Dan

Took the tin tent to N.Wales for first time with my "new" L322 vogue. She behaved well but on 2 occasions I noticed that after pulling off to refuel, when rejoining traffic and accelerating to speed the revs stayed high(3500) for a minute Confused or so before dropping to the 2000 or so I was getting for the same speed before I stopped. Is this normal or a sign of a fault coming on ? I would be grateful for any insights/info http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif
