Far be it for me to suggest an 'operator error in the adjustment process' since it was certainly the case that the offside lamp was a tad too 'offside' to judge from the startled look in oncoming drivers' eyes of late....

...they were too high as well apparently. Still, as there have been some adjustments made, we'll see what tomorrow's commute (0600 - 0700) brings... 2012 FFRR Westminster Orkney / Ivory and absolutely no pimp-glass!

I just drove mine back from Guy Salmon in Thames Ditton. Very Happy

After a week and a half in the Disco 4, I was surprised by just how much I like my car. I thought the Disco was okay - not entirely my thing, but perfectly acceptable. I'd forgotten just how nice my RR is to drive. And it's not missing any of the cute little extras that make driving more interesting. (Heated steering wheel, I'm looking at you!)

Oddly enough, I actually like my car more now than when I first bought it. I wasn't used to driving such a big beast before, so every trip required more concentration than usual and so was harder work. But now I'm used to it, it's loads of fun. Cool

And it passed its MoT with no advisories as well, so it's definitely on Santa's Nice list for this year. Wink

Picked up the car from the exhausts shop and it now sounds a lot louder, but definitely has more of a V8 growl. Not as obnoxious as I expected, although it does sound quite different to the LR system.

Went into the garage and gave mine a kind look as it sat there all warm and dry whilst the frost lay on the ground outside Whistle

Not quite today but on Saturday the family and I went to the Plough restaurant in Eynsford for lunch...
The road leading up to the pub gives you a choice over the River Darent; Bridge or Ford. I chose the later.

It was really deep, much deaper than I was expecting! The water was almost over the bonnet.. "keep up with the bow wave" I was telling myself

and almost immediately after...

'Bing'

Gearbox fault!

B@lloxks! The wife was not impressed!

Luckily it seems to have cured itself as this morning no warning message has came up on the dash... I assume some water had got it in to the electrics and now it must have dried out...
