Sounds like a continuity problem in the wiring from unit to head unit, does the display on the screen stay ok ?? One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

As Gary said, have a look at traces of (old) water ingress in the lefthand side rear. On mine the Bluetooth died because of that, for some people more damage results or other units die. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

hi just read this thread... my 2007 tdv8 has developed the same fault, said i was in the Irish sea.

I rang Land Rover Customer Service (strangley enough they were all unavailable due to the snow in the UK - Guess they don't drive what they support...lol).

keep the a/c on for a few weeks, the dry air should help if its damp inside.. ... - .- -.
