Park Brake Fault - Safe To Drive?

My '11 TDV8 came up with the 'Park Brake Fault' this afternoon.

IID suggests "U2002-92 (2B) Switch general electrical failure - Component failure - performance or incorrect operation".

The park brake goes on fine and I only see this when I try to turn it off. Any ideas?

If I force the car to move it shows some resistance but then feels free when I try to roll it down a gentle slope.

Am I safe to continue to drive the car?

One of my caliper motors failed the other month & would not disengage the handbrake, if its running free with no heat build up, you’ll be fine to drive it , but get it looked at sooner rather than later . Mine started the same as yours then eventually jammed on making it undriveable.
