Right, 3.0 SDV6 -
Every time I refuel my car I get diesel blow back through the breather, which then runs down the side of the car.
The pressure through the breather is enough for the fual to spit out past the rubber funnel neck.
Ive checked several times - its not the forecourt pump nozzle leaking - it's fuel spitting back out of the breather.

I've used different fuel stations where the refill rate (or pressure) differs greatly.
No difference - evreytime I refuel the same happens - even if I fill say £20 then pause then continue.

Anyone else getting similar?

Sounds like the fuel tank breather is blocked, there is a hose and probably some sort of vent valve - air/fuel separator, probably something wrong there. Obviously the air is not escaping as you fill the tank.

This is not normal - there is supposed to be an "anti-spit back" flap at the tank end of the filler hose (its possible this may be stuck) and the breather pipe doesn't seem to have any valve that could cause this.

It should still be in warranty so see what the dealer says.

In my previous post, the info stated on the site was incorrect, but this below is for a 2016 TDV6, so I imagine it is the same as yours, it does mention a spit back spring loaded flap.but as it is under warranty, it doesn't matter as it will be down to the dealer.

But if you have all the info, they cannot fob you off, as it looks like a pain to get to, and they may not like having to fix it.
