Access Mode

Good evening all,

I normally access the access height mode when parking up my L405 SDV8 but I have been told you should not leave it parked in this setting?

Could someone confirm please, save me trawling the handbook🥴

Thanks,

Dave. 2013 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Dropping the car to access level may also help to deter the thieving scum from nicking the cats, as this seems to be on the increase. Censored

I find that leaving it in standard height in car parks makes the doors/bodywork less vulnerable to careless Door impacts.. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

Always leave in access mode, same with the L322 and the RRSs before that. As Craig says, saves wear on the seat base and easier to get in. There’s also that nice feeling when you fire up the engine and press the button and feel it lift up. All part of the ownership experience for me!

But, but, but, if I leave it in access mode, I won’t get to feel quite as smug about my electric side steps!

Of course you will, as you get to lower yourself down onto the seat in a Full Fat Range Rover! Laughing MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Why not? I have deployable steps and always lower the car before exiting! Thumbs Up
