No way it will be the M division engine, it will be the standard 4.4. This can be tuned to good effect though as shown in the Alpina models.

It will be interesting to see whether there will be an SVA version from the start of production or if they will hold this back for a while. They really need something with 600hp in the top model straight away to compete.

Interesting post on the rangerovers.net forum:

I am being told my deposit for the New Range Rover 2022 is being pushed back as the 2022 model is now apparently the same.

Hello, can someone help me in better understanding what to do. I was told about the new Range Rover (vogue) complete new generation change for the 2022 model, placed a deposit to be one of the first to get it in Toronto in dec2021/ Jan 2022 but today I got an email saying that Land Rover is telling them that the 2022 Model is going to be the (same) design and the new one will be after that...

Maybe JLR does not think it will be competitive. Like the new XJ. Back to the drawing board.

Do you know how far along they are when it comes to non-reversible decisions, e.g. tooling?

Agreed..... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
