If you didn't change the EPB shoes, there's no need for the bedding process - which is more for the EPB shoes than the discs Paul,

So just tighten up the adjuster till they grip then back off a few clicks till they don't Pawl ? L322 2007 TDV8 3.6 |

There is a specific quanity of clicks to back-off I think - probably to ensure the EPB applies the correct tension to the cable.

I replaced the disks and pads earlier this year but not the EPB pads, I did have to go through the palaver of the resetting of the pads for the handbrake. not difficult but does take a bit of time and I don't think doing it in the centre of a city or town works. I did mine on a rural road, it did take about 8 or so goes to get the brakes set, it did pass an MOT so I must have done something right. |

There is a good how to video on You Tube from Powerful UK Ltd - Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4 bedding in rear handbrake shoes EPB. It is for a Disco 4, but the sytem and procedure is the same for L322's.
