I called Dartford spike to a guy he said email Martin. I did that on Monday no reply so will ring today. If I go down there they wont see me or plug me in I doubt so will end up driving back unresolved. Thought he would have replied by now. Bloke said he replies to his messages Current Cars

Yes hopefully. Advice to all. When you know somethimg is goikg to cause you problems please trust your gut. I knew and said to myself before I bought the car it will be a whole lot pf trouble...true to my word it has been

I will just blame he pandemic for my irresponsible thinking ha

It will be fine just a pain to get ot sorted. The two Garages the car has been in to should have been able to diagnose and fit it. All they did was take £1800 off me. Still lesson learned perhaps Current Cars

So am I but apprehensive a little as I dont want to throw loads more at it. Was meant to be a cheaper option to the car I sold. Fingers crossed.

Ash, as all the faults seem to be low voltage and/or power interruptions, have you checked the engine to chassis earth strap? If it's loose then the rocking of the engine under power/overrun may be enough to cause these problems. Could of course be something entirely different, but checking and tightening a loose earth strap is free........

Haha Sam where were you 3 weeks ago ha.

So car is in with Martin

Dropped off yesterday 10:30am

Got a call at 4:30pm. They know what the problem is but want to run more diagnostics. Will cost £88. No problem mate. What is the issue

It is missfiring!!!! Yes Sean I told you it was missfiring when I booked it in. What is the issue. Oh we dont know so will need to keep it over night and do more diagnostics on it. But so far it is £88

OK Sean so you dont onow what the issue is?? OK keep it over night and let me know. That was yesterday. I have not heard from Martin or Sean today.....So I really don’t know anything. I thought as a specialist it would have been quite quick to find out the problem or quicker but I guess somethings stump even the very best Current Cars
