In the kit I had, if I remember, it started with 800 grit then 1500, 2000 & finished off with 3000. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

You dont need to sand them, g3 is ok but mcquires scratch remover is better on glass or plastic lenses

There are kits available on ebay, Amazon etc. They do work very well but you need to be patient, following the process fully and not short cut or rush it. Its also a bit of a leap of faith first time ! lol |

Yes, you can use different grades of compound and then finally jewel polishing, clean with IPA then use a proper UV safe clear coat.
