The few times that I've used mine I've turned it off after no more than 5 minutes due to being more than hot enough. |

I use mine almost every day. It gets nice and warm but not too warm. Could be a faulty temp sensor.

If you have a gap diagnostic tool or possibly another type you might see the engine load raise when you turn it on. if so you could monitor it and see if the thermostat is working

When the steering wheel is worn it can get too hot. |
