So I bit the bullet yesterday and fitted the 019 AGM that had been sitting in my garage for two weeks.

I’ve never heard this ticking before so we are getting somewhere. If did tick slow to start off with, then started speeding up- is that normal? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

What’s the fuel level before it stops working? I think I read somewhere that it’s 1/4 of a tank? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

I would also be interested to know if the ATC module assesses fuel for the FBH, the workshop manuals don’t mention fuel levels only temperatures and voltage - but like Andy I feel I have read this somewhere. Ours will fire with the fuel light on I know that much. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

My FBH ran fine yesterday with an indicated range of 60 miles left, if that helps. Too many toys, not enough time

Back to normal this morning. Half a tank of diesel and 3° outside and no FBH working. No ticking this time either. 😡 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

Sounds like it's locked itself out. You may need to pull the fuse to reset it. It's in the underbonnet fusebox on mine.

It’s a PITA to keep taking the fuse box cover off to access the fuse! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

If you start the engine from cold, can you detect any exhaust from the FBH ?

I’ll check that later when I get back. I have heard the ticking sound on occasion when I first start the car so it may be working on start up. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |
