I would like a remote heater fob ,for my 2011 range rover vogue,4.4tdv8. Not sure which one i would need and any control units needed ,hope you guys can point me in the correct way. Mercedes AMG w207

You need remote type either T90 or T91, T91r will not pair with your vehicle. If you remove the rear storage panel you will see a small box which will have T91 printed on it. They all left the factory with the receiver fitted. Enter FBH in the search field, plenty of info available on here.

You can always remove the control unit and replace it with a GSM switch which you can then activate via your mobile phone by either calling it or texting it. Ive done it to mine and it works a treat... And because its mobile phone network, the range is far superior to the IR remote fob .

Really is a minefield. Other posts have stated that although Marked as T91r late L322 vehicles have only been able to pair with T91 remotes. Although as previous post it appears some MY12 cars have transitioned to T91r fully. But from personal experience, my previous early MY11 fitted with T91 receiver worked with both T90 and T91 remotes. MY current later MY11 car also is the same and will not pair with T91r remote. Would be great if there was actually some information as to what Vin numbers the transition to T91r actually happened.
