I always wanted deployable side steps... I got them and found myself just shutting them off, they're very annoying. With the car in access mode it seems lower than an l322. Good luck |

Ive got them currently and found them useful for the kids and parents to get in and out. Theres also a cool factor i thought. Will see if i really need them on the L405 if ingress is easier on these. |

Mine has been relatively free of faults, the software has had to be updated twice, the gear selector had to be replaced as not emerging and retracting smoothly and there was a small oil leak from an oil cooler connector pipe. I have mudguards which I like, but not steps, which I don't, but then I don't generally have passengers who would need them. They are great cars, and when the 5.0SC gets going it is delightful. You'll need to keep an eye on the speed as it picks up so quietly and effortlessly. At lower speeds smooth, quiet and refined. Good luck with finding the right example. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

It has to be done by the dealer. If the dealer tells LR that you’re having problems with the infotainment system, he should be able to claim the cost of the update as a warranty claim (though LR are now wise to only paying for 1/2 an hours’ labour! 🙄). |

The software updates were at the dealer, presumably plugged into something, maybe an hour each. But these were in response to problems such as incorrect service messages, screen not coming on etc so not something that would just be done as a general update with no problem to necessitate it. I'm in the US and on the AB the 1700 is standard. |

The document I referred to seeing online was a US spec sheet. Wonder whether it applies to a UK spec car |

It's not standard in UK. Mine does not have it. The standard 825 one is inferior to the top audio system fitted to the 2012 322 WM. Most of the time the 825 is OK, but in classical music bass can be a bit buzzy and droney, which was not the case with the WM. At the AB price it's a bit disappointing. The top system would have been £4,000 extra, so not that many cars have it.

Park Assist was a £935 option in 2017. And, yes, 1700W not standard on AB outside of US.
