Adjusting tick over/idle speed

Hi, my TDV8 3.6seems to be idling around 800rpm which to my ears seems excessive and faster than it used to be.
Can it be adjusted easily?
I also think i feel more vibration thru the steering wheel and car in general on tick over, the car drives normally, I've just had new, fron t struts/bags and all front track arms and hub balljoints replaced, could this have any bearing on the vibration?

I think 750 rpm is standard & it can't be adjusted - except via mods to the engine ecu.
Have you tried checking with a diagnostic tester as the instrument panel is probably not an accurate indication.
If it is high, might be worth checking the intercooler hoses for splits and have some check the MAFs for faults. The engine could be getting more air than it needs for a correct idle or thinks it's getting more air.
The standard idle speed does also seem higher than expected, but is probably set to maintain emmissions or make sure there is enough output from ancillarys like the PAS pump, alternator etc or even make sure the turbos speed up quicker.
Older design na petrol v8s definitely could idle as low as 500rpm. Paul,

Thanks for that info. Hoses seem in good nick, car drives fine with no smoke emitted. Having paranoia of "things" not seeming quite right is part n parcel of owning these cars, awaiting the next £££ symptom.. Shocked 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

Ours is 1 of the earliest TDV8s & you wonder if they took any more care because it was a new model or whether there are actually more potential faults because Land Rover always use their customers vehicles for product development / fault finding Rolling Eyes Paul,

Owning, or should I say, taking on an elderly Range Rover is akin to buying a rambling old house that needs constant repair and renovation!
