I think 750 rpm is standard & it can't be adjusted - except via mods to the engine ecu.

Thanks for that info. Hoses seem in good nick, car drives fine with no smoke emitted. Having paranoia of "things" not seeming quite right is part n parcel of owning these cars, awaiting the next £££ symptom.. 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

Owning, or should I say, taking on an elderly Range Rover is akin to buying a rambling old house that needs constant repair and renovation!
