I also had a play about but couldn't get satisfied.

I opened up the rear compartment and confirmed the subwoofer is working, sounded better when compartment door was off.

My 2012 Westminster has exactly the same fault with the SW and Bass, it has been in the dealers on numerous occassions and has had all the relevant components changed including the amp and speakers. Their "master" technician eventually said that they weren't very good in my model and he recommended getting an after sale solution..I had all the software updated but still the same, got bored with complaining so now put up with it...I have also tried various inputs but no joy......sorry I need more help than most...sorry !!

I love my HD system. No complaints.

I've only have Bose speakers in my home(s) for many years so I enjoy a good sound system.
But I've never heard such a good sound system in a vehicle as this HK HD.

I like mine so much, I think I blew my sub.
I saw they are not too expensive and it's on "the list"
Am getting by at the mo with a low sub setting.
. Cheers, Greg

Bumping this thread.

I've just bought a Westminster and I'm really not impressed with the sound system. My bluetooth speaker play much better/louder... I've tried to adjust everything. I don't have the IID tool so I can't check for any faults.

It's OK for the short commute to work and back listening to some random radio but sometimes I really want to oomph it up but that's not possible. Won't impress anyone with it.

Just sharing my small frustration since I thought it would kick a bit more.

I'll probably bring my bluetooth speaker with me in the trunk for those long trips Cool

Mine has the HK system in it and you can get colossal volume out of it with very firm gut wrenching Bass notes. BMW i3 Electric Car

I've tried that too with the only result that everything sounds more "flat" and definitely not more punch to it.

Just tried my 2010 Logik 7 on and off and tbf I think it's better with it off. More punchy bass and crisper all over, Logic 7 on is definitely wider but less punchy. It's a subtle difference FFRR

ikjos sounds like an amp issue to me.

Have you got an IIDTool? Or another fault code reader?

. Cheers, Greg

No, I don't have the IIDTool (yet). And yes it's probably the amp. Does any of you have experience with those? Just to throw away and find a replacement? Any after market ones that would fit?

My Range has the Logic7 HD and the sound is amazing. Have some R&B and you expect the roof to be blown away.
Added a small Bluetooth device connected to the aux in the back, hidden in the armrest and solved the "connectivity" issue.
Also updated the DAB to DAB+ (module swap)

Why add Bluetooth when you can just connect a iPod?

Would like to know more info on dab + upgrade please Regards

Sorry guys, Android over iOS .... Whistle

Mail form Feb 2019:
If your 2010 L322 Vogue already has DAB, and you want to upgrade to DAB+, this is not too complicated.

I can supply a DAB+ module with the mounting bracket so it fits exactly where the original DAB module was located, also some adaptor cables for the power and antenna, so you do not need to cut or solder anything, it's just a matter of unbolting the old module, bolt in the new one, and plug in the cables. No programming needed.

There is a bit of work involved in accessing the DAB module, I have attached the instructions from the workshop manual so you can see what is involved.

For an "upgrade kit" it would be $810 AUD (~520 EUR) plus postage to Belgium, I guess around $50 AUD (~33 EUR) for postage with tracking.

I have all the parts here on the shelf will just need a day or so to prepare the kit.

Regards,
Cameron
