Mystery hoses in engine bay

Advice please folks.

Just picked up a 2005 TD6. Got these 2 hoses going nowhere.
One with a filter goes nowhere and one towards the back of the engine just hooks over.
Anyone have any ideas? Runs great with no issues.

They are breathers. Gearbox and transfer box, or possibly diff. RR History
