What wheels fit L405?

I currently have 22" wheels and I learned the hard way yesterday that these wheels and tyres are far from capable off road... in my L322 I had 20" wheels fitted with 255 60 20" they were winter/AT fantastic tyres. My 22" on the L405 has continental tyres brand new X4 and one burst yesterday at the fist sight of a rock on a green lane in the dales..

Can I fit L322 wheels that seem to be plentyfull on eBay? I need a set of rugged capable wheels and tyres. And advice would be great thanks

You need a set of 20” L405 standard wheels and AT tyres. I have Cooper AT3 285/50/20 on mine for the shooting season - summer set are the Turbine 22’s 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Thank you for the reply... the big question I'm looking to answer is, are all range rover wheels the same PCD and fitment etc.?

I have the opportunity to buy some 20" range rover wheels from a 2009 range rover, which I will fit some relatively aggressive snow tyres to

I am looking at a set of 265 60 20 tyres which according to will they fit, tells me they will provide an additional 20mm lift In ride hight while at 30mph it will display 29mph only a 1mph incorrect reading which I can live with.

So... will older range rover wheels fit my L405?

Dan@Duckworths had two sets of 20" 405 wheels for sale in October, admittedly with standard summer road tyres, but well priced at £1,000 I think, they might still be available, you could keep the tyres for the summer and fit something more robust. I have Goodyear Duratrac 255/55R20 on a set of wheels from Dan, acquired in that way, was very pleased with service and value there. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Yes they are different Thumbs Up L322 have an offset of 58mm, L405 are 49mm for 22” wheels and 47mm for 20” wheels, i.e. for 20” wheels there is 11mm difference.

322 wheels will catch on full lock - especially with wider tyres - you are also losing nearly an 1” on track width 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

I suppose you could use 10mm spacers if you were really set on using L322 wheels, although I'd stick with L405 20" wheels, they're plentiful on ebay as already said.

10 mm Spacers like that are not recommended = 10mm less thread in your wheel nuts = not much holding your wheels on. The only way with spacers of that size is to also change your studs for ones 10mm longer 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Thanks for all the input. I will look for some L405 wheels that won't great the bank. If I ever did use spacers it would only ever be hubcentric ones anyway. But I would rather not use spacers.

Only reason I asked is I have the chance to buy full set for 300 including tyres local to me. But if L322 wheels won't really work then it's back to the drawing board
