Dropped suspension on my l322

I have just been to get my l322 4 wheel alignment done, but they could not do it as when they measured the front distance from the bottom of the front wing to the middle of the wheel the left side was two centimetres different to the right.
There are no warning messages the air shocks work ok, I have replaced front wishbones joints etc I am wondering if I have missed something anyone any ideas? Rolling Eyes

Could it have been this way before your suspension work. If you have an IID tool you can reset the heights to the correct level. 2015 4.4 AB

The joints should be tightened when the weight is on the wheels - could this be it? 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

I didn't do it that way weight was off, can it be jacked up without wheels on to put weight pushing upwards or do I need to have the wheels on?

You will need to loosen off the front suspension nuts/bolts for the wishbones, get weight of car on the wheels at "normal height", then tighten up the bolts. Only then should you try calibration.

If you can get at them all (the nuts/bolts)you should be able to do with car on the ground, just have an axle stand in position in case the height drops. .

Simply ask the garage doing the alignment if (maybe for a small fee) if you can put the car on the alignment ramp and loosen/re-tighten the wishbone bolts... That way you can do all the tightening with the wheels on the floor albeit on a ramp... Thumbs Up
