I have heard of this on RR.net in the past, I've never been able to find any info on it though.

Yes I have experienced it in both the RRS's and this FFRR - super-extended offroad height. It is normally triggered automatically but you can also force the car to go into it without a jack under the car. If you look on RRSport and also IIRC JMC has posted about how to do it here as well. Also search on Disco3.

thats what it says in the manual nick, but it can be done in extreme circumstances, then neutral is selected and the handbrake is on and you might hear noises and feel vibrations. ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |

I have lowered to access in N and P/ stopped on my drive and it does make some noises from the tyres, possibly being stopped and lowering/raising puts some additional stress on the suspension? 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

makes sense tim ,the tyres are probably trying to move laterally outwards putting strain on the air bags. ... - .- -.
