Automatic height changes that normally occur with some TR settings are disabled as well as high speed lowering but manual height changes remain available. |

I've not tried on mine. But its got a trailer attached at the moment, so will try it in the morning. Mine is an aftermarket towbar with the electric kit, and the trailer light illuminates on the dash when connected.

Mine 100% lets me alter it, I always raise it to offroad to lower the jockey wheel and then lower to uncouple and the reverse for coupling. I also had to drop it yesterday while on the move so that I could get the ariel under the height restriction at my local tip Current

Going by your replies seems like mine is how it should be, what made me doubt it was the fact that the hand book says you can't alter the height when connected,

The warning in the towing section should begin with "automatic" which is implied further in the paragraph but is initially misleading. The trailer blinker indication only when using the genuine wiring is also incorrect because it has nothing to do with the wiring, instead only if incandescent globes or LED lights with load resistors equivalent to incandescent globes are used on the trailer. |
