Mine has the same diff and the owners manual states 1.6L dry fill, 1.55L refill after drain. I put in 1.6L when I swapped the open diff for an e-diff 2 years ago. |

The diffs are heavy - 2 people struggled with jacks but we got there. A hoist with an appropriate equipment jack would have made the task much easier.

Are you sure that you have an ediff?

Hi Graeme thank you for help after your question whether I have an Ediff I went and had a good look at my diff and its not an Ediff its the Open diff so thanks for your intuition.

No harm in using ediff oil in an open diff other than the hole in your pocket. |
