TD6 Injector insulation.

Just reading another thread by green-oval-nut I see on the pics of his engine there is an insulating pad that covers the injectors. I don't have that on my car so was wondering if anyone knows if it's worthwhile trying to find one, does it quieten the engine to a worthwhile degree?... https://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/albums/u...51_iOS.jpg 2007 TDV8 VSE

Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Epsom Green

Hi Wayne,
I've got that on my beast, think it was standard.
But I had taken the the noise covers off a few years ago due to one of them almost catching fire.

I like to hear how the engine is going anyway, in case of something going awry.
