Did mine a few days ago with the 88 degree stat, mine has a blanking plug where the sensor would go. No issues running without the sensor. |

Have read issues surrounding excessive heat due to 105 degree thermostat fitted to 4.4 engine, have just ordered

Much quieter, and the pipes around the rad are no longer rock hard. I needed my stat changing anyway so it would be a positve thing to do in my view. |

Re rock hard hoses, what is the pressure rating on the coolant reservoir tank, 140 or 200kPa (look at the number underneath the cap)? Ron B. VK2OTC

I'd suggest changing to 140 kPa p/n PCD000070
