Hi all,

Would anyone happen to know of any LED replacement bulbs for the interior tailgate hatch? I quite often have to sort through my gear in the boot and having some brighter lights would be beneficial.

I've just done this and have had a battle and a half with the LEDs and the BCU seemingly having a mind of its own. It turned out (I think - fingers-crossed) that I'd disturbed one of the metal lamp-holders when I removed it and it's been making intermittent connection which throws things into turmoil and the BCU switches off all three lamps for an indeterminate amount of time (seems to be at least 30mins) before resetting.

I also used these in the door puddle lamps.

On my car the bulb in the loadspace itself is of a festoon type rather than a T10 so I've now ordered a different LED for that one.

Oh, and there's a good chance you'll break the plastic retaining clip when you remove the lamp from the tailgate itself. Go easy on it. I broke one of mine and the other ended up very loose. As a result I've had to improvise...  2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I had the chance to test mine last night and it's very bright - a big improvement over the originals. Do double check the lamp types you have - mine's a 2009 and the one in the loadspace is a "festoon" type bulb whereas the two in the tailgate are T10. This seems to have changed on different MYs. Thanks all! I've ordered the kit from ebay. I have already replaced the festoon luggage space light with an LED from a number plate light upgrade.
