Only just started with the idea so a bit of searching may find a cheaper repair. Will keep an eye and may have a cheeky bid if stays reasonable. Thumbs Up

Dunno if it will be of any interest to anyone on here, but 'Bolt On Bits' are offering this...

In short, £250 for them get the 2010 lights to function correctly. It seems a lot of money, but might help people out that don't want to tackle the job themselves? 2006 Mercedes CLS

Sounds very expensive but i guess your paying for knowledge not parts. I'm taking mine to a friend of a friend whos good with electrics on wednesday so will update after. The parts in my kit are worth £15-20 tops. What he won't be able to do is turn of the self check bulb pulse that causes the lights to flicker when first turned on and i guess their kit would sort this.

If you have a good understanding most of the instructions to fitting are in a thread on Range rovers.net which ogy has contributed to considerably (2010 overfinch conversion thread)

In the advert for bolt on bits they say your car must be plugged in to check for faults. I would like to guess they discreetly disable the bulb check function at the same time to stop the start up flicker.

Nothing to worry about but would be nice not to have the flicker all the same!

One step at a time though!

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

I own a 2007 Vogue both light have been damaged so I decided to purchase a pair of 2010 rear lights . I'm sure I can't be the only idiot out there but I am struggling to get these to work properly... can anyone help me?

I've tried looking over the net but it all seems a bit of a closed door and I refuse to be beaten. From what I understand I need to use 50 Watt resistors in parallel? however with the side lights on during a night drive the resistors surely would get so warm I could reheat my dinner Also on the back of the lights it mentions 5 Volts do I need to reduce the voltage aswell....?

Please help as I can't drive my works van for much longer I'm going mad
