Maybe didn’t see the connector and forgot it was there. Could be a dodgy switch in the stalk...... ______________________________

can the cowel be taken off to look or is it a dash board off job pal ?

It’s the plastic cowl underneath the steering wheel, so I imagine it can be taken off without the dash top having to be removed. ______________________________

Just looked at the manual and it’s three torx screws only. It says to take off the steering wheel first but I doubt that.... ______________________________

if the stalk was disconnected then it wouldn't work at all such as indicators etc... so doubt it would be disconnected. Alex

Like I said I wasn’t sure of the numbers of connectors, but I’ve just looked at an indicator stalk on eBay and it’s plugged directly into the rotary coupler, so no leads to be left disconnected.
