On mine (06 ) I have to set up whats shown via the info settings screen on the dash for the stalk button to work - ie consumption 1 , 2, time etc. Might be all yours are turned off?

Could well be that�s it�s been disconnected under the cowling, I�ve never been under there so I don�t know how many connections there are so best to have a look?

hi pal , im at work till 6pm pal so cant try anything with it but why would anyone disconnect it ??

Maybe didn�t see the connector and forgot it was there. Could be a dodgy switch in the stalk...... ______________________________

can the cowel be taken off to look or is it a dash board off job pal ?

It�s the plastic cowl underneath the steering wheel, so I imagine it can be taken off without the dash top having to be removed. ______________________________

hope someone can confirm that , it can whistle if it doesn't come off easy pal lol

Just looked at the manual and it�s three torx screws only. It says to take off the steering wheel first but I doubt that.... ______________________________

hmmm , on no other vehicle ive owned / worked has the steering wheel needed to be removed for such a thing but this is a landrover . . . . . . .

if the stalk was disconnected then it wouldn't work at all such as indicators etc... so doubt it would be disconnected. Alex

Like I said I wasn�t sure of the numbers of connectors, but I�ve just looked at an indicator stalk on eBay and it�s plugged directly into the rotary coupler, so no leads to be left disconnected.

Maybe a knackered info switch on the stalk? ______________________________
