I've spotted this for sale in my eternal internet search for a decent high lift Jack for the Fatty, given the epic articulation when it comes to jacking the big old lump up and the time it takes up and down several times with railway sleepers and my bottle jack - not to mention ball ache!

Thank you, but it doesn't really answer my question - I'm interested in a trolley jack and want to know if it will be practically enough to lift the FF and if anyone has any practical experience lifting from the rear cross member? |

I've used my 3 ton jack on the rear cross member. I used a cut up piece of H iron and a block of wood to get between the exhausts. It was a bit of a fag to do but I was putting the whole car on axle stands, not just changing wheels. It worked ok with plenty of height to get the wheels off the ground. |

I have a Halfords 2.25 tonne jack and a draper 3 tonne jack. The Halfords jack really struggles to lift the RR, a 1.5 tonne jack is really going to struggle 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
