United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Bournville

Interesting results so far, LRI is the cheapest but still expensive given I'm 43 with full no claims, with go compare about 100 quid more. The cover from LRI looks good at least. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

So Jez another 6 years to go before you can get cheap Saga insurance then......................... 5 months before my 50th they started sending more junk mails than the postman could carry and still send me plenty of stuff. I phoned them about cover for my Defender as a bit of a joke............................. their rate was even lower than LRI UNTIL I mentioned the words "modified" "off-road" and "use" - off-roading must be the preserve of the under 50's as they couldn't even offer cover, let alone give an extortionate quote!

BTW in the UK these days there is no such thing as "cheap" car insurance - there's "cheaper" but they are all expensive. It isn't your age that is making it expensive to insure it is the value of the car that makes them all run a mile - you have a far greater chance of getting your FFRR stolen to order than then owner of a Honda Civic or Ford Focus has and the premiums reflect that. IIRC last year when I contacted LRI (the new scheme) they wanted a Tracker on my FFRR, the old scheme (for existing clients like me) doesn't and they don't give discount for having one either. Also you have been overseas for a long period so your records have probably all fallen out of the Insurance Industry computers in the UK - in their eyes you have never existed as a client of the insurance industry so you are in effect a "new driver". Is there any way you can get your canadian Insurer to issue a letter with your good history there mentioned on it? 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I've just renewed mine with Sureterm, off road cover and limited mileage and they were still cheaper than everyone else I tried. 2006 Mercedes CLS
