If I can get the part no. I could get the from the dealer. Cant find them on 'the bay' for some strange reason

if you have the original wheels on yours phil ,then you would have the black nuts..sounds like you've lost the chrome covers that go over the nuts...ebay [as mentioned] is your best bet.

Thanks for your input lads. Mick - no they aren't the ones I am looking for, my wheels are the spoked ones from the 2010 model as far as i am aware. They have metal wheel nuts (not black ones) and they all have a thin metal cap that fits directly onto the wheel nut, apart from the 4 that fell off because the d***heads at kwik fit didn't put them on right. Do you have these?

Or these?

These are Chinese LR wheel nuts - often used in place of the OEM wheel nuts when doing a wheel upgrade as they can be had for 1/4th of the LR price and the 06> have different wheel nuts than the earlier wheels. They work fine as far as holding the wheel on but there is a difference in quality too, not just cost. The caps are simply crimped on and moron tire guys using an impact gun to tighten wheels (which they are NOT supposed to be doing on your alloy wheels) hammer open the crimping.

Your best bet is to go to ebay and search through the 'Range Rover 2006 wheel nut' listings till you find a pic that matches yours and contact the seller to see if you can purchase only a few. Or purchase the set and have plenty of spares. Laughing

And all of us should be watching the tire guys (regardless if Chinese wheel nuts or not): it's fine to use an impact gun to remove the wheel nuts. It's even OK to use an impact to 'snug' them back on. But tightening needs to be done by hand with a torque wrench.

buy the caps and they will only come off again, best to buy the 'proper' nuts.
