Whilst you are under the front of the car, you might want to check the air change-over valve to see if it is modified.

We had a problem with the inlet manifold on our 4.4 TDV8 last year whilst in France. It showed itself as a 'Reduced performance' issue. It would initially reset itself if I turned the engine off and on but eventually stayed on permanently. The manifold had actually split and had to be replaced by a dealer in France. |

just been out and checked mine for POM, it seems that i have the non nut version of the air changeover valve so thats good. Now in terms of the 4 little rubbers.
