It isn't possible to check with the iiD tool. I asked Patrick at Gap and he confirmed it wasn't. John

I would have thought if it had been tuned, then if you got LR to put the latest software on the car then that would wipe out any remap that could have been put on the ECU.

I don't believe the gearbox fails cos of a remap. The valve body is soft, so it wears. The sonnax kit lines the bore of a main shaft so it doesn't wear... others can obviously explain that better... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

If it is remapped, I think you will be disappointed with the performance if you go back to standard. |

The gearbox won't fail BECAUSE of the remap, but a remap will certainly put more strain on the gearbox, and will cause it to wear faster. Sadly, my gearbox is starting to fail, and I am having it replaced next week, and consequently I want to try and make sure that it lasts as long as possible. |

I doubt that I would be disappointed!! My normal car is a Discovery 2 TD5 MANUAL!! Any Range Rover will seem fast compared to that!! |
