How can they be 80W per lamp when the quoted running current is a maximum of 670mA. More like 8W per lamp.

My thoughts exactly , everything I have tried runs with a cooling fan because of the heat generated and that is before I believe the fantasy outputs quoted, I'm now trying some with a great big bunch of braided tails to dissipate the heat to keep the noise down of four or six cooled lamps running. 2008 MY Supercharged Rimini Red / Jet four zone climate remote park heater and no ugly kid windows. magnus satis quod turpis satis |

Most of these aftermarket bulb are not E stamped, they can look good and they can be more effective then normal bulbs however if you have an accident this is a quick way of blaming you for the accident or voiding the insurance for non compliant parts being fitted |

Lumens are the unit for visible light output, watts for input power. Typically approaching 5 times as many lumens per watt from LED as from halogen so a LED drawing 8 watts from 12 V should be roughly equivalent to a 40 Watt halogen.

Don't worry about sorting the bulbs out for error free, just turn of bulb check in LCM I'm sure if a high beam bulb is out you would notice it |

80W per light would also be illegal for road use in UK |
