Not a main beam question but, what, if any, are the best replacement dip beam bulbs to buy? I know there xenon but there seems to be quite a choice on eBay?! Mine are useless, all I seem to get is the flicker as soon as you turn them on and then a useless blue/ice/white haze across the road, I much prefer conventional bulbs I must say.

The best ones are Osrams ones. The cheap ones will either flicker or like you say throw the light everywhere.

Has someone fitted 6000K HIDs? If so then 4300K are far better. |

slightly off topic, but not much, i have just brought a 2003 L322 V8 and every time i start the car it says check front fog light, but they are working ok, would it be to the incorrect bulb being fitted? how would i check? |

Lens flare... Stand back and to more of an angle, you'll capture the beam of light better |

Hi,I'm confused, which isn't difficult. My dec 2007 Tdv8 headlamps are xenon but someone mentions they have a shutter mechanism to enable main beam? Why do I have separate main beam lights then that appear a horrid yellow by comparison and seem feeble, presumably halogen h7's? I want rid, should I replace with led or bang in some 100w halogen. Also although I appear to have active swivelling headlamps and cornering lamp fitment in the headlamp unit but i never see any evidence of them working?? Thanks for any forthcoming advice. 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

Rapiscan.. I was exactly in the same situation and couldnt understand the point of the additional bulb for high beam when there is a shutter system on the main beam.
