I just poked the cable & sheeth through the hole, as was already mentioned a little bit of swearing to the rubber grommet to fit through the hole. Then once it was situated properly I put my hand down to grab the cable and ran it along the same path as it was before. Mine looked like it was fed through a rather dodgy route so I made sure it went through the same route but was free of any foreign objects such as rigid brake pipes, brake booster vaccum hose etc.

Hi all thanks for this mine snapped and I replaced it all went ok but when I pull the handle it doesn’t snap back down like before it stays slightly up and I have to push it down - any ideas?
