My two front speakers blew recently so I decided to go for some after market ones and using the old ones as speaker brackets .....right up with pics to follow later

that's good lee, shame there's not a facelift rear end you could fit..

There is a company down London way I think, who can upgrade the BM54 amp from 20w per channel to 40w.

Found them on the bay of e when I was looking at BM54 upgrades.............

Been considering it myself. Install better internal amps and ic's into your actual unit. You have to take it out the car and post it to them

Just a thought, if you are doing the speakers...

well as i said earlier my speakers blew so wanted to replace them but for something a little better

i removed my old speakers that are built into a sort of speaker pod
and made sure my new speakers were the same sort of size
i then cut the old speaker out from its mount as you can see in the pic while doing this i kept the old connection plug to re use,
i soldered some new wires form the connection to be fitted to the speaker
and then as the speaker was a tight fit i drilled two holes either side of the bracket to screw the new speaker in place ....and there you have it all done.....ill let the pics show what i mean
