Depends - if you have a pre dvb (i.e. analog) tuner you wont pick up today's digital tv signal. There is plenty of discussion on this forum. QUID FACIUM TIBI

Ok it's probably analogue , how do I change this , yes it's 54 plate. |

Yes, it's all in the boot. All you need to change. It's a straight swap.
