I have the shedder installed.
But amp took water from underside i dont know how it got wet.
Is thare a way to cover the amp since it is not a hot running amp. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

That's good to hear. To prevent it happening again try fitting a water shedder - Part number EOT500030.

And next time I'll read things properly

Shedder already installed

Look for a bung/stopper in the bottom of the spare tyre well as there is a drain hole there which will let water in from below if not closed with a bung.

umibat, where is the water coming in from, probably you need to replace/repair the tailgate seal.

I reckon the best way would be to reposition everything in the cubby. Helps if you don't have a sub woofer!

You would need @ 3 inches of water in your spare wheel well before it started to affect the stuff in your cubby. Unlikely that water will make its way in through the bung in the bottom. In fact I reversed my bung and put a hole in it to allow for drainage, even though my wheel well has been dry as a bone for years. .

I have the shedder.
The amp damped form underside.
I dried nearly 1 month ago and it is still dry!!
No sign of water yet.
We tried to pressure wash,drived in rain but still dry.
2 months ago we draw in to deep water in higway exit pretty fast at night.
Mybe it got wet then. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
