I saw it at the Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon. There are many more pics on the net, and it looks like there is a red one. They probably made 2 or 3 for senior executives in Rover. It was never a mainstream model.

I had a Rover 800 'fastback' once. It was a magnet for tw@'s.

The execution on that is horrible. Looks like a sandwich job with a volvo. It should've been so much better! |

The bootlid to me just screams Volvo! Maybe a 240? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Neat photos, all. Thanks. Yes, Rover back hatch is definitely from one of those old boxy Volvo estates. I guess, if you're going to nick a bit of someone else's car, why not pick one of the nicest estates of the time. |
