2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
Infinity QX50 Premium

So neighbour with more money than sense has decided to enter the word of the "big" 4wd's. After a string of BMW's and Merc's - usually the AMG or M type he's taken delivery of an Infinity QX50.

It's been staring at me for a week now and I have to say the unusual look is actually pretty good. He's been telling me this morning how nice it is to drive and all it's toys.

Anyone had much to do with Infinity....my experience is "desert only" and they seemed to be for Arab's who wanna be different....by that I mean not drive an LC. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

one of my mates has one as his daily driver and he is really fussy about his cars. his occasional sunday driver is an Aston Martin something (they are all the same to me). anyways, he is pleased with it.

My misses car is an infiniti m35h which is a hybrid wih a 3.5 litre v6 and 70 bhp electric motor so goes like stink. They make nice cars and are fully loaded. They seem to get bad reviews from the car press for some reason and as such values drop like a stone. Think they will become more popular now they have launched the smaller one which is basically a rebadged mercedes a class.

Neighbour been showing me around it, have to say it's well put together. A Japanese for me inside but to be expected. Lots of gadgets but seems to go well and look good. He's paid £28k for this one and it's an S-Premium on a 65 plate with 6k on clock Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

They seem like nice cars, but the styling always seems off. Not too far off, but never right. There always seemed to be 'better' choices in each niche.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 V8 Santorini Black

My friend has one, funnily enough lives in Dubai, he loves it. I spent a couple of weeks there last year and drove it a number of times. Nice Car, Range Rover it isn’t and you feel the difference when you get back in to a RR. He has also said that if they were not as expensive to repair, he would have gotten a used RR over the Infinity.
The infinity is however fully loaded, but still a RR it isn’t. 2011 5.0SC Santorini Black

I have the slightly older (well 2006) nissan version the murano, had it now 2+ years which for me is very unusual normally have a caar 12 months max then upgrade

the wife has pinched the murano from me so now I have a range rover Smile

murano is a 3.5 V6 (out of the 350z sports car) with a CVT gearbox which takes a bit of time to get used to no gear change's, engine revs high with foot right down but noise of engine dosn't make the car feel faster is that makes sense

the car is on LPG since after a few weeks of owning it, I can get 100 miles for £10 on motorway runs (getting LPG for under 50p / L) quite a roomy car, I have even converted it to 7 seater on wife's request

infinity to nissan is what lexus is to toyota so guessing the infinity would be of good quality if my micra on steroids is anything to go by

I understand the relationship between the luxury versions of the mainstream Jap stuff. I was surprised the QX failed tbh, it seemed well put together and although a bit 'japanese' for me on the inside and a bit 'usa' on the outside it was nice enough. Years back my Dad looked at a Murano in the Nissan dealers, he went for a Terrano in the end and always liked it...

F-Pace is a 2.0d premium I am told....£49k Shocked Shocked Shocked

I am truly in the wrong job....but like the wife said...."our stuff is paid for".....put yer claws away woman Mr. Green Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
