Whistle I'd say... they will allow you to see everything that a Land rover technician can see... but in the comfort of your own seat and without the price tag that's attached to a trip to the stealers... In fact I don't think that there is any thing that the LR testbook will do that the IID tool can't do either......... If you plan to stick with LR products get the BT IID as they will work with the entire modern range, and while you will have to buy extra licences for it I think it's only £25 a go Thumbs Up

Or to put it another way, I have just had to shell out £50 getting the faults read on my Mercedes ML, at an Indy Shocked , cos they don't do a Gap tool for them Big Cry .. but at that cost it don't take long to get your money back... and I understand that over here the diagnostics are commonly charged at an hour minimum... 3 goes and you've made a profit Whistle Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Whistle Just plug Weegie's IID in to your car, it should read the data, just wont let you change anything... so you wont be able to play with the height, or set the lazy lock, but you should be able to see if there is a fault showing for the PDC. I can't say for sure if it will work as I don't know which IID tool Weegie has, but I was able to access injector live data with my BT tool on another ffrr that wasn't vin locked to the tool Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... If one is not working all will stop on that side.
Check cables.
