I'd say... they will allow you to see everything that a Land rover technician can see... but in the comfort of your own seat and without the price tag that's attached to a trip to the stealers... In fact I don't think that there is any thing that the LR testbook will do that the IID tool can't do either......... If you plan to stick with LR products get the BT IID as they will work with the entire modern range, and while you will have to buy extra licences for it I think it's only £25 a go

Just plug Weegie's IID in to your car, it should read the data, just wont let you change anything... so you wont be able to play with the height, or set the lazy lock, but you should be able to see if there is a fault showing for the PDC. I can't say for sure if it will work as I don't know which IID tool Weegie has, but I was able to access injector live data with my BT tool on another ffrr that wasn't vin locked to the tool Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
