When I did my lights you have to force the bumper down to get them out... and I think there is a bolt down there too... I do remember thinking that is was a bloody stupid design Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

If you get your ear within an inch of the sensor, you should hopefully hear a sound like a gas cooker igniter going..... tick,tick,tick...... or click,click,click..... same sound different spelling BUT it isn't as loud as a cooker, so you will have to get close, real close Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

yes i understand what your saying, and this is the sound they make if they are working correctly? SO if they are making the clicking sound then why are they not making the warning noise out the speaker !!! ???

You do realise that there are 2 speakers... one in the rear and one in the front..... The PDC unit is in the rear so there is a lot of wire between the PDC and the front speaker... and even more between the front sensors and PDC.... So there is a lot of places for it all to go wrong. I think I'd be inclined to try the other PDC unit before I went looking for a broken wire. I'm assuming that you've had it on a IID tool or NavCoder just to see if there are any fault codes that might shed a bit more light on the problem Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

well i dont know if the garage had it on a diagnostic, all i know is they said it was the speaker and not the sensors, but now i wonder if it i a break somewhere, bumholes i say, but i will try the main unit first, i did consider buying one of these id tools; are they a good buy ?
